The Contour Day Spa is proud to be a locally owned small business. And as with many ventures, there’s a great story of how it all began. So, meet the Baileys, Venice residents and owners of Contour, and learn how it all began.
Dave and Lori Bailey first met in 1981 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They have been married for more than 35 years, raised four children along the way, and now, their kids have started families of their own.
Professionally, Dave and Lori thrived in careers in the healthcare industry that took them around the country. In 2018, Dave and Lori took a break from work, settled in paradise (also known as Venice) and began planning to start their own business, a life-long dream.
Their Dream Come True
With an intense passion to help people in the community, Lori’s gift for providing amazing patient care, Dave’s business savvy, and a bit of luck, they created The Contour Day Spa to provide body fat reduction using Allergan’s FDA cleared CoolSculpting® process.
CoolSculpting freezes targeted fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue. The body then eliminates the dead cells over the following months, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Our bodies don’t grow more fat cells.
“It was important to us that we invested our time and money in something we believed in,” Dave noted. “So with 10 years of results behind it and hundreds of medical studies, we knew CoolSculpting was the right thing for us.”

There is nothing clinical about The Contour Day Spa. “Every aspect of the space was thoughtfully designed to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience,” said Lori. “And because we specialize only in CoolSculpting, we are committed to making sure people have amazing results.”
Guests exclaim how comfortable they feel during their treatments at Contour, mentioning that the plush robes and blankets are luxurious, and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. They also say they’ve never been as pampered as they are here. The Baileys wouldn’t have it any other way.
